It is now Christmas 2013 and we wish to express our thanks to everyone who has been involved in what has been a truly amazing year. Before we depart for the Christmas and New Year celebrations we wanted to reflect a little on the year past.
2013 has been Inspire Conservation’s fifth year and the best yet! It has been the busiest and includes some of the most interesting of our projects. We are proud that we won an award for our work this year from the Oxford Preservation Trust and that has helped reassure our future clients of our abilities and work ethic. Our works have included war memorials, monuments, historic buildings, listed structures and a few interesting private commissions. Of course, as you may well be aware, we specialise in stone cleaning and conservation, stone masonry, lime mortar and plaster work and traditional decorative surfaces.
Inspire has also spread across the country with a new HQ in Lincolnshire. Inspire now operates from two offices, one in Chapel House, Lincolnshire and the other from Bacon House Farm, Buckinghamshire. This solid, central area of the UK has proven useful to effectively cover the majority of the country and provide ample service to clients. Our project locations can be seen here in this fun info-graphic! We are very excited about next year and the projects that we already have in progress. We look forward to working alongside our existing clients and many new ones. A busy year ahead already!
Our online store is also a year old now and we have had a great reception for the services and products that are offered. The store will be developed further in 2014 with more FAQ information and hopefully development on our collaborative products with other conservation material suppliers in the UK. The store was originally developed by Michael Sheppard and Simon Henry and we are sad to have to say goodbye to Simon as he departs the company for other ventures but he has been every part of the success of the store and we wish him well with his new endeavour.
Other projects by Michael Sheppard and Inspire are Crafty Inspire, the promotion of traditional crafts and techniques and the Traditional Building Directory. Both of which will be further developed in 2014 and continue to be part of the success of the Inspire brand.
We hope that everyone has a well deserved break and look forward to opening the office doors in the new year to an other brilliant year ahead.
