Inspire Conservation is celebrating its fifth year!

Inspire Conservation is now 5!  Michael Sheppard set up Inspire Conservation five years ago after completing a two year project with Payne and Stewart at Cardiff castle.  Michael acted as the site manager over seeing a large team of wall painting and decorative surface conservators and specialist subcontractors.

The companies humble beginnings started as MJS Conservation for a few years and established itself as a stone conservation company specialising in the treatment of monuments, smaller stone items and condition surveys.  A few years past and Michael decided to join another established company to help them enter the conservation profession as they were a roofing contractor prominently.  After one year Michael made the prudent choice of returning to his company with complete and undivided attention and renamed it as Inspire Conservation ltd.

The company has come a long way since the early days in 2008 as we now have an established team of stone masons and conservators, an office manager and marketing advisor, new workshop and office in Buckinghamshire.  Inspire have formed great relationships with trusted specialist subcontractors and craftsmen, clients and returning custom.  Inspire Conservation is now supplying quality materials and traditional tools and have been actively sought by several well established suppliers in the UK to be the newest member of the Ionic group.  Ionic manufacture and supply quality lime mortars, ecological building systems and lots more.

We have maintained our aim to go above and beyond with our customer service and to provide the highest level of service.  Our team aspire to provide the best value for money treatments and to supply efficient and pragmatic solutions to our projects.  Above all, we strive to care for our built environment and historical artefacts.

Here’s to 2013!
